A community resident for over 25 years. Originally from Florida, Heather settled in Hoytsville in 2000. She brings deep knowledge of the performing and cultural arts along with professional experience in business development, finance, and leadership. Her love of theater began as a child watching Broadway plays and grew into a family tradition raising her four children.

A first-generation Latina and lifelong Coalville resident who cares deeply about her community. Chantal is passionate about equity, mental wellness, and creating spaces where art, culture, and connection can thrive — bringing people together to strengthen the North Summit community.

Born and raised in Utah, Penci is a proud longtime Coalville resident with deep roots in the community she calls home. An avid hiker, she finds joy in the natural beauty of the mountains around her and the quiet inspiration the outdoors brings. Passionate about building connections and celebrating the unique character of small-town life, Penci brings warmth, dedication, and a steady hand to her work on the NS Unite Board — channeling her time and energy into making a lasting impact through art, culture, and meaningful community engagement.

Kathy Chappell
Secretary
Kathy loves living in Wanship. Her favorites include her grandchildren, time in the mountains, theater productions, and good music. She recognizes the important role arts and culture play in enhancing community life and individual wellbeing.

Gregg Anderson
Intergovernmental Affairs
A Utah native who has called Henefer home for 23 years. Practically raised on cross-country skis, Gregg also loves downhill skiing, hiking, and bicycling. An educator for most of his life, he has taught piano since his teens. A recent widower, he feels deep empathy for others walking through challenges, and is excited to help preserve this community's rich culture while building new traditions.

Hazel is passionate about the performing arts — especially music, where she dedicates much of her time and energy. Whether performing, teaching, or supporting others, the arts are at the heart of her life. Outside of music she values family time, vacations, and exploring new places.

Emily Haufe
Student Ambassador
Emily enjoys the arts and has a special love for both performing and listening to music. The arts play an important role in her life and serve as one of her favorite ways to express herself, connect with others, and explore her creativity. She is grateful for the opportunities this community provides to develop her talents and share her passion for music with those around her. In addition to her love of the arts, Emily cherishes spending quality time with friends and family and making lasting memories. She values the sense of inspiration and belonging that both music and community bring to her life.

Born, raised, and currently living in Upton, Utah. Anita developed a passion for heritage and culture being raised on her family farm. In 2019 she retired after 30 years with Summit County Government. Mother of two and grandmother of two — looking forward to helping NS Unite link our past to our future.

Lynn became part of the Coalville community in 2007 when she married her husband, Jay. Mom to two grown daughters and grandmother to two, she is part of a big blended Wood/Ison family. She has a special love for the area's historic buildings and the stories they hold — and is excited to help preserve, promote, and celebrate the unique culture of this area.
